This is a BSU student, Animation majors take on the Skin a Scion Contest community project. I am a realist and enjoy making things look as real as i possibly can. This is where I am at this point in time.
My inspiration came from the never ending battle here at Ball State University, the parking crisis. There is never a place to park on campus so I thought that it would be nice to have a wide open, empty parking garage to park my car.
The design on the car is inspired by the forms of a few cars including a Corvette, a Camaro, and even the Tc itself.
Everything in this image was modeled and rendered by me using Maya 8 and Mental Ray (Using references provided for the contest.) This is the Scion Tc with a custom wide body-kit designed by myself.
The design on the car was created using Adobe Illustrator CS2 and all post was done using Adobe Photoshop CS2.
I will post more angles, colors and designs as I create them.
I have also posted a more detailed view of my Tc model in my profile gallery.
Heres a Different angle of my first version Which shows the design more clearly.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The 25 semi-finalists for our "Darksiders: Your Last Days" contest have been selected! The ultimate winners will be chosen by Joe Madureira, aka "Joe Mad" of Vigil Games. Check out the awesome semi-finalists to see who made the cut!
